Jamie O’Hara has said on talkSPORT (7:15pm, October 15, 2022) that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur will not beat Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to the Premier League title, alluding to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s recent comments.
The former Tottenham player made the comments about Tottenham’s title challenge in response to a question from former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Jamie O’Hara on Tottenham title challenge
Following Tottenham’s 2-0 win against Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening, Agbonlahor asked O’Hara on talkSPORT if Spurs are now challengers for the Premier League title.
O’Hara responded by saying: “As Jurgen Klopp says, your mate, no one can compete with Manchester City. It’s as simple as that.”
The talkSPORT pundit was alluding to recent comments from Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp about the Premier League title race this season.

Klopp told Sky Sports this week that no team can compete with defending champions Manchester City, adding that they are “the best team in the world” who signed “the best striker on the market” in Erling Haaland in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham are third the Premier League table at the moment with 23 points from 10 matches, level on points with second-placed City, who have played nine games.
The Citizens clearly have the best squad in England and are firm favourites for the title.
However, Tottenham, Arsenal and perhaps Chelsea could push City all the way.
