Tottenham are reportedly keen on signing Ousmane Dembele, who is set to leave FC Barcelona just four years after joining the club for £96m.
90min claim that the Premier League is the most likely destination for the 24-year-old attacker. And that the likes of Manchester City, Newcastle United and Tottenham are all eager on Dembele.
The winger’s contract with the La Liga giants is set to expire next summer. Yet despite a huge-money move to Spain a few years ago, Barcelona are eager to cut ties with Dembele.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has struggled massively with injuries during his spell in Catalonia. Indeed, a change of scenery could do Dembele and his career a world of good given his obvious talents.
Moreover, now Tottenham are in the race for the forward. The north London side have struggled with both goals and creativity this season, and Dembele can offer both to Nuno Espirito Santo’s side if he can stay fully fit.
Yet for fans on social media, some are not certain on Dembele joining Tottenham in the coming months. Mainly due to the finances that could be involved.

After all, Daniel Levy is notorious for being quite tight when it comes to finances. And given Dembele’s hefty wage, the Tottenham chairman will have to break some club records to acquire the attacker.
