Arsenal are experiencing something of a golden generation with their youth academy. And Salah-Eddine is just one of the many exciting talents coming through at Hale End.
The Dutch-born midfielder has been on fire this season at U-23 level. Under Kevin Betsy, the young Gunners have enjoyed a remarkable campaign with Arsenal beating the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.
And last night, the U-23 side claimed another impressive win as Arsenal won 4-3 in dramatic fashion against League Two side Newport County. And Salah-Eddine was on the scoresheet.
The former Ajax academy graduate scored a stunning free-kick as the Gunners scored twice in the final ten minutes to secure an EFL Trophy win against the Welsh side.
Indeed, Salah-Eddine is becoming something of a fan favourite at Arsenal. And footage doing the rounds on Twitter of his goal has only amplified the hype surrounding the 19-year-old.
With the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka becoming key members of Mikel Arteta’s senior team, youth development is crucial for Arsenal.
