Mikel Arteta has said that Ben White could miss Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Manchester City next weekend.
Speaking to the press via Football London after the Gunners’ 2-0 loss to London rivals Chelsea, the Arsenal manager revealed that White could miss a second league game.
The defender was absent from this weekend’s clash against Chelsea after testing positive for Covid-19.
Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed last week’s Premier League opener against Brentford after the duo also tested for the Covid-19.
Although Aubameyang returned to action against Chelsea this weekend, Lacazette was rested but was pictured in the stands.
The outbreak in the squad has plagued havoc on the Gunners’ squad for the opening fixtures of the Premier League. And White is simply the latest victim for Arsenal.

Indeed, the Gunners sit 19th after two 2-0 losses to London sides. And next week’s trip to City will certainly be a tough game for Arteta.
Fans will be fuming that White will miss second Arsenal league game
The pressure is mounting on the Arsenal manager to deliver with Arsenal currently spending more out of any Premier League side this summer on new players.
Indeed, White himself cost Arsenal an astounding £50m from Brighton and Hove Albion.

Moreover, with Arsenal facing the real prospect of playing three games in the Premier League and collecting zero points, it has been the worst possible start for the Gunners.
And with this new update on White, Arsenal fans will be fuming that their new big-money signing could miss another crucial Premier League game.
