Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raved about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang following his performance against Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend, as quoted in Football.London.
Aubameyang scored for Arsenal in their 3-1 victory over Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby.
The 32-year-old striker found the back of the net in the 27th minute of the Premier League game.
Arsenal boss Arteta has spoken highly of the striker, and has said that the former Borussia Dortmund star is working very hard for the team.
Arteta said about Aubameyang, as quoted in Football.London: “I’m really happy with the performance today, the performance against Burnley and what he is doing.
“When he is getting criticised and we ask him to do more he stood by it. He puts his head down and is working tremendously hard for the team. Now I can tell you he’s really leading the team.”

Aubameyang has not looked particularly great so far this season, but perhaps his goal against Tottenham will help him get back to the player he was before last season.
We know how the striker struggled for goals last season, and Arsenal fans will hope that Aubameyang does better this time around.
