Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Willian not being in manager Mikel Arteta’s matchday squad against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.

Arsenal took on North London rivals Tottenham in a pre-season friendly match yesterday.
Willian, who joined the Gunners last summer after leaving Chelsea, did not feature.
After the match, Arsenal manager Arteta did not explain exactly why the 33-year-old winger was not in the squad.

Willian has been linked with moves away from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano said last month that the Brazil international wants to leave this summer.
The Athletic reported in May that the 33-year-old, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, is among a number of players at Arsenal who want to leave.

Much was expected of Willian when he joined Arsenal last summer, but the Brazilian did not have a great season.
The former Chelsea star scored one goal and gave five assists in 16 Premier League starts, and gave two assists in 312 minutes in the Europa League last season.
