According to 90min, Arsenal are interested in signing David Raya from London and Premier League rivals Brentford in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Arsenal have made a bid of £20 million plus £5 million in potential add-ons in Raya.
90min has added that “Brentford are expected to reject the offer as they stand firm on their asking price”.
The Bees reportedly want £40 million for Raya, who was described as “a top-class goalkeeper” by former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen on Premier League Productions (06/03/23 at 7:35 pm).

In our opinion, Arsenal need to offer more than £20 million if they are to complete the signing of David Raya from Brentford in the summer transfer window.
Yes, Raya has one year left on his contract at Brentford, but the Bees are a well-run Premier League club who do not have to sell any of their players if they do not have to.
We believe that Arsenal will have to increase their offer.
Maybe the Gunners should pay an initial transfer fee between £25 million and £30 million and try to convince Brentford into a deal.
We do not think that Raya is worth £40 million for Arsenal.
After all, the North London club have Aaron Ramsdale on their books.
