Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Evan Ndicka is expected to join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer of 2023, according to CMW.

Tottenham target Evan Ndicka expected to join Arsenal

The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Ndicka is expected to sign for Arsenal at the end of the season on a free transfer when his current contract with Eintracht Frankfurt runs out.

CMW made the claim while discussing Juventus’s interest in Arsenal central defender Gabriel, suggesting that the Italian giants could be able to persuade Gunners manager Mikel Arteta to part company with the Brazilian because he will have Ndicka at his disposal.

Juventus could reportedly send midfielder Arthur Melo, now on loan at Liverpool, to the Gunners to sweeten the deal.

We do think that Arsenal will sell Gabriel even if they land Ndicka and are offered Arthur.

Blow for Spurs

This latest report about Ndicka will come as a blow for Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham, who have also been linked with the 23-year-old, described as “a clever boy” by former Frankfurt sporting director Bruno Hubner in BILD in March 2021.

Italian outlet Roma Giallorossa reported in November that Newcastle and Tottenham are among the clubs interested in signing Frankfurt central defender Ndicka.

Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche said last week that he does not want the 23-year-old centre-back to leave, adding that the German club have made him an offer to extend his current contract.

Nothing official has been confirmed about Ndicka and Arsenal yet, but the Frenchman could put pen to paper on a pre-contract with the Gunners in January 2023.
