Moises Caicedo has admitted that he wants to see Arsenal win the Premier League title at the end of the season.
Fabrizio Romano had reported at the end of March that despite the Gunners’ failure to sign the 21-year-old in January, their interest still remains intact.
Perhaps Arsenal will be even more inclined to get a deal done for Moises Caicedo, now that he is backing them to lift the Premier League title.
Moises Caicedo wants Arsenal to win the Premier League title
Priced at £80 million as per the Sun in January, many believe that the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder would instantly elevate Mikel Arteta’s side.
For instance, pundit Kenny Cunningham has said that the Ecuadorian wonderkid would be a ‘better option that [Granit] Xhaka]’ and that he would improve the current league leaders.
In an interview with the Telegraph, Moises Caicedo has made his Premier League title feelings about Arsenal clear.
“Of course [I want Arsenal to win the league]. I hope so but let’s see.”

This admission will certainly warm him to the Emirates faithful, who are desperate to see their side lift the league crown for the first time since 2004.
Seems like Caicedo is still keen on Gunners switch
Of course, this is simply a hunch but it is telling that the Seagulls midfielder has admitted he wants to see Mikel Arteta win the league instead of staying neutral.
After all, Caicedo does not play for the London-based side yet, which begs the question of why he wants them to get the job done in the first place.
However, it seems like Moises Caicedo is still head over heels about joining Arsenal, and is perhaps hinting towards his desire to sign for the club by backing them in the Premier League title race.
At the end of the day, signing for a club that have just won the league is the perfect environment to take them even further in their development.
