Journalist Dean Jones has said that if Arsenal decide to sell AC Milan-linked Folarin Balogun in the summer, the asking price is likely to be £50 million.
The 21-year-old has been a revelation in Ligue 1 on loan, level on goals with Kylian Mbappe and Jonathan David as the division’s top scorer with 15 goals, leading Mikel Arteta to label him as an ‘incredible’ player and a ‘very rare’ talent.
Now, it has been claimed that if Arsenal end up selling Folarin Balogun to a potential suitor like AC Milan, they will demand as much as £50 million for the ‘brilliant’ youngster in the summer.
Arsenal may slap £50 million asking price for AC Milan-linked Balogun
The ‘super complete’ striker is one of the talented youth products from the famed Hale End academy in years and considering the waves he has made in France, it comes as no surprise that top clubs are interested in his signature.
Now, journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport about the £50 million asking price in place for AC Milan-linked Folarin Balogun by Arsenal, in case they take the bold decision to let him go in the summer.
“Look, on the back of good form in Ligue 1, you’ve got to be careful as a buying club because you don’t know how that form is going to transfer. But he’s flying at the moment, all you can do is put his goals record on the table and hope that he can sort of live up to the levels that other players have managed to achieve from this kind of point in the past.”

“So, £50 million might become the asking price for him but at the moment, I don’t think he’s quite there.”
Arsenal fans will certainly hope that in an ideal world, Folarin Balogun is in Mikel Arteta’s long-term plans and clubs like AC Milan stay far away from his potential signature in the summer.
