Reims manager William Still has raved about Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun on talkSPORT.
Balogun is on loan at Reims from Arsenal at the moment.
The 21-year-old joined the French club from Premier League outfit Arsenal on a season-long loan deal in the summer of 2022.
And the young striker has been “absolutely brilliant”, according to Still.
Balogun has scored 14 goals and given one assist in 17 Ligue 1 starts so far this season.
The young Arsenal striker is leading the goalscoring chart in the French top flight.

Still said about Balogun: “He is brilliant, he is absolutely brilliant, and I am just not talking about the player, I am talking about the human being behind as well. He has totally adapted into the environment he has come into.”
The Reims boss added: “He has accepted the people around him and he is working incredibly hard for the team, and he has obviously got huge amount of ability, he is a top all-round striker, he is now the top scorer in the league. Full credit goes to him.”
Encouraging
Folarin Balogun did not always play well when he turned out for the Arsenal first team, but he is doing extremely well in Ligue 1 at the moment.
Ligue 1 is a hard and physical domestic league, and the England Under-21 international striker is the top scorer in the division at the moment shows how good he is.
It is very encouraging for Arsenal that Balogun is doing so well at the moment.
Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah are the two main strikers at Arsenal at the moment, and perhaps Balogun would get into the Gunners’ first-team squad next season.
