Jose Enrique has been left shocked by Arsenal transfer target N’Golo Kante’s call to leave Chelsea and secure a big-money move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.
The 32-year-old is out-of-contract at Chelsea this summer and there were suggestions that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal were keen to sign him.
But rather than staying in the Premier League, N’Golo Kante will team up with Karim Benzema at Al-Ittihad and Jose Enrique issued a one-word response on his Instagram story which was simply ‘wow’.

The Guardian have claimed that a deal is close to being announced and Kante has agreed on a deal until 2025, where he will earn £86m-a-year.
It’s just a long list of names that are now deciding to head to the Middle East and join Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia, with suggestions that Crystal Palace superstar Wilfried Zaha will follow suit.
Either way, that’s another free possible transfer Arsenal can tick off their list because they were looking at the World Cup-winning star.

Arsenal’s midfield transfer targets this summer
The ultimate free midfield transfer Mikel Arteta and Arsenal want to sign is Manchester City’s treble-chasing captain, Ilkay Gundogan.
Now, the German has bigger fish to fry, at this moment, because if Manchester City beat Inter in the Champions League final on Saturday, then they will be treble winners.
Could it be a final bow for someone like Gundogan? If he opts against signing a new Man City contract, then it increases Arsenal’s chances of securing his talents for nothing.
