As the Summer transfer window edges ever closer, with the window due to open on the 14th of June, here is the latest transfer news coming out of Arsenal.

Fabio Viera

Starting off with a potential outgoing for the Gunners and that is Portuguese midfielder Fabio Vieira, who has not had the best time of things at Arsenal.

According to a report from Portuguese outlet A Bola, FC Porto ‘dream’ of signing the midfielder and could be tempted to make a move this summer.

The midfielder moved to the Emirates from Porto in a £34 million move, as per the BBC, but that decision hasn’t worked out with Viera featuring in just 561 minutes in the previous campaign.

Viera, according to the report, is ready to leave the Gunners and this has seemingly put Porto on alert.

Marcus Edwards

A move for Sporting Lisbon attacking midfielder Marcus Edwards may be a controversial one but, according to reports in Portugal, the Gunners are interested in the Englishman.

After being released by Tottenham Hotspur, Edwards made the decision to move to Portugal and has excelled. According to a report from O Jogo, the Sporting Lisbon star could be allowed to leave this summer.

The report states that a summer move ‘can’t be ruled out’ with Edwards’ inconsistent performances said to be frustrating manager Ruben Amorim.

Dominic Solanke

A report from the Sunday Express has claimed that Arsenal are interested in English forward Dominic Solanke and could be ready to move for the Bournemouth striker.

The signing of a new centre-forward looks to be high on the list of priorities for Mikel Arteta’s men with HITC understanding that the club are keen on Benjamin Sesko.

However, the Sunday Express claims that because Solanke has a £65 million release clause in his contract, the North London club could make a move for him. Despite this, it certainly seems unlikely that Solanke will be who the Gunners move for this summer.

Joshua Zirkzee

Keeping on the theme of strikers, Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee is the next name who has been linked with a summer move to Arsenal by Sky Sports.

The 23-year-old – who joined Bologna from Bayern Munich in August 2022 – was joint-15th on the list of leading scorers in Italy’s Serie A last season.

With the Dutchman having a £34 million release clause in his contract, the Gunners are said to still remain keen despite AC Milan appearing to be the favourites.

The Gunners are reportedly keeping a close eye on developments.
