Juventus may move to sign rumoured Arsenal target Corentin Tolisso before the end of the window if they sell Weston McKennie, per Calciomercato, amid interest from Tottenham.
The Bianconeri are working to sell McKennie in the final week of the summer market to boost Massimiliano Allegri’s budget. Premier League and Bundesliga outfits have made the American offers to leave Turin, and is currently assessing his potential options.
Juventus chiefs are also assembling a list of possible replacements they can sign to replace McKennie’s offering in Allegri’s plans. Tolisso is one name that features on the Old Lady’s early shopping list, but their pursuit is not without challenges.

Bayern Munich could price Juventus out of a deal to sign Tolisso to replace McKennie at the Serie A giants. Bild report the Bundesliga powerhouse want no less than €10m (£8.5m) for Tolisso amid interest from Arsenal. CalciomercatoWEB.it also report Bayern Munich have offered Tolisso to Arsenal during recent discussions over signing right-back Hector Bellerin.
Arsenal taking up the chance to sign Tolisso could therefore deny Tottenham a deal with Juventus for McKennie. Calciomercato note Spurs want the American, but so do Bayern Munich, while Aston Villa have also bid for the €30m-35m (£25.5m-30m) rated midfielder.
Aston Villa’s straight-cash offer appeals to Juventus more than what Tottenham have so far touted in any deal for McKennie. And if Arsenal poach Tolisso from under the Bianconeri’s nose, Fabio Paratici may miss out on signing his desired addition for Nuno Espirito Santo.
Will Arsenal end Tottenham’s McKennie hope by signing Tolisso?
Arsenal signing Tolisso from Bayern Munich would almost certainly dent Tottenham’s hope of signing McKennie from Juventus this summer. But the Gunners landing the Frenchman’s services is unlikely to end Spurs’ chances of acquiring the American.
Juventus have not settled on Tolisso being the absolute replacement for McKennie in Turin. Allegri could yet overlook the 2018 World Cup winner and eye alternative targets with the funds McKennie’s exit would raise.
Tolisso’s current side, Bayern Munich, could also prove to be a more substantial threat to Tottenham than Arsenal over McKennie. Julian Nagelsmann’s outfit could offer Tolisso to Juventus in part-exchange for their former Schalke star, to appease both side’s situation.
