According to BILD, Arsenal are now interested in signing Bayern Munich maestro Corentin Tolisso, who is a target for West Ham.
What’s the story?
Well, the German news outlet believe Bayern Munich are thinking about cashing in on the man who cost them £35.2m.
Tolisso has struggled with a number of injuries at the Allianz Arena, and the board are currently remaining ‘seated’ about the 27-year-old.
BILD believe Bayern Munich will not sell the 27-cap France international for anything under €10m (£8m).
That represents a big loss on their initial outlay, so why would they sell?
Well, as BILD claim, the Bavarians want to make signings, but must offload a player first.
Evidently, it seems Arsenal or West Ham could help them out in that respect.
Who does Corentin Tolisso play like?

For some readers, you may not know who Tolisso is.
If that is the case, former Bayern Munich striker Jean-Pierre Papin made an interesting comparison.
Speaking to BILD (via Goal), Papin said that Tolisso plays a bit like Real Madrid and Germany maestro Toni Kroos.

Now, that’s a very bold comparison, seeing as Kroos is arguably one of the greatest midfielders of his generation.
Aged 27, Tolisso is at a good stage of his career for a move, and wouldn’t cost Arsenal or West Ham too much at £8m.
Despite the injury problems, if a £35m World Cup winner is available for £8m, you’d be silly to ignore the opportunity.
