Journalist David Ornstein has said on The Athletic’s YouTube channel that Fiorentina think that Dusan Vlahovic does not want to join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal or Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Fiorentina think that Vlahovic, linked with Arsenal and Tottenham, is holding out for a move to Italian giants Juventus in the summer of 2022.
The London Evening Standard have reported that Arsenal are ready to make a move for the 21-year-old Serbia international striker in the January transfer window.
Tottenham are also interested in the youngster, according to the same report.
Ornstein said on The Athletic’s YouTube channel: “Fiorentina are of the view that Vlahovic doesn’t want to go to Arsenal or to Tottenham and is holding out for somebody like Juventus maybe next summer, and the agent is said to be heavily involved in this situation, as you would probably expect, but have a strong influence over the destination.”
Could Arsenal or Tottenham sign Dusan Vlahovic?
In our view, Arsenal or Tottenham could still sign Vlahovic in the January transfer window.Yes, Juventus are a massive club, but money talks.
If Arsenal or Tottenham make a big offer and Fiorentina accept it, then it is likely that the Serbian will be convinced to make the move.

Vlahovic reportedly wants a weekly salary of £300,000.
If Arsenal or Tottenham are willing to pay that kind of wages and pay what Fiorentina want, then, in our opinion, Vlahovic will move to the Gunners or Spurs.
We think that Vlahovic would be a brilliant signing for Arsenal or Tottenham.
The Fiorentina striker has scored 16 goals in Serie A so far this season, and score 21 goals in the league in 2020-21.
