Alexis Mac Allister claims he isn’t rushing to leave Brighton and How Albion despite interest from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Mac Allister was already having a decent season with Brighton, bagging five goals in his first 14 games of the Premier League season, leading to Arsenal and Tottenham taking a look.

The 24-year-old took his campaign to another level though having excelled for Argentina during the World Cup in Qatar.

Mac Allister was outstanding as he helped Lionel Messi cement his legacy with World Cup glory.

Mac Allister really excelled in the final against France and Argentina certainly dropped off in the game once the Brighton star went off.

Brighton now have a World Cup winner in their ranks – something few could have expected in the days at the Withdean Stadium.

Arsenal and Tottenham want Alexis Mac Allister

The problem for Brighton is that other clubs now fancy signing Mac Allister.

CalcioMercatoWeb claim Antonio Conte has told Tottenham to sign Mac Allister. Spanish newspaper AS even claim that Arsenal are interested in the playmaker too.

CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs has added that Arsenal have been looking at Mac Allister, certainly more so than teammate Leandro Trossard.

Brighton tend to sell for high prices, as seen with the deals to sell Ben White and Marc Cucurella in recent times.

Arsenal and Tottenham face a similarly massive outlay if they want to sign Mac Allister.

Yet it sounds like Mac Allister himself isn’t exactly angling for a move away now he’s a World Cup winner.

Mac Allister has told BBC Sport that he feels ‘really good’ at Brighton and is not rushing to leave the club.

Mac Allister isn’t paying attention to the rumours and just wants to focus on Brighton rather than a move to Arsenal, Tottenham or anyone else.

“I feel really good with this club and my team-mates, and everyone who works here,” said Mac Allister. “I try not to read too much. I always say I am really happy here and I don’t have any rush to leave. I am focused on the next game with this club,” he added.
