Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told the club’s chiefs to get a deal for Brighton and Hove Albion and Argentina international midfielder Alexis Mac Allister done in the January transfer window, according to CMW.
Antonio Conte wants Alexis Mac Allister at Tottenham Hotspur
The Italian news outlet have claimed that Inter Milan and Juventus want to sign Mac Allister from Premier League club Brighton.
However, the two Italian giants are facing competition from Tottenham.
Conte has reportedly given ‘a mandate to his management to push on the accelerator’ and get a deal done for Mac Allister before his former clubs Inter and Juventus.
Mac Allister was a key member of the Argentina squad that won the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
CMW have reported that the 23-year-old is now valued at €35 million (£31 million).
Italian outlet L’Interista had earlier claimed that Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Inter all are in the race to sign Mac Allister.

Could a transfer happen in January?
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to be able to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window.
Brighton are an established club in the Premier League and are doing well at the moment.
The Seagulls are unlikely to sell one of the best players in the middle of the season, especially someone who has just won the World Cup.
Moreover, Brighton CEO Paul Barber has said that the club plan to keep the youngster.
