Kevin Hatchard says Mykhailo Mudryk will secure a transfer to Arsenal and he is someone that will be a ‘real asset’ to Mikel Arteta’s Premier League title-chasing side.
The European football expert added that Mudryk has ‘really stepped up’ in the colours of Shakhtar Donetsk this season, especially with his performances in the Champions League.
Whilst Arsenal and Shakhtar thrash it out in the boardroom regarding a possible move for the left-sided attacker in January, the player himself is sending hint after hint.

During Arsenal’s Premier League games, post-World Cup, he has been posting images of himself on social media watching the Gunners in action.
It’s pretty clear what the player himself wants, now it’s a case of the key figures doing the rest.
But European football expert Hatchard is confident that a deal will get done, as he shared what Mudryk is good at, as he told Transfer Talk on Sky Sports News.
“He is somebody that will play down the left of a three,” said Hatchard. “He will come on his right foot. Amazing acceleration. He is strong as well. A great technique.
“What I was really impressed with him is that Shakhtar were playing in the Champions League, and because of the situation in Ukraine, they had lost a lot of key players. He really stepped up. The fact that the squad nearly qualified for the last-16 is insane. They shouldn’t have got anywhere near that. He did very well and had some really good performances. I think he is ready. I think he could play in the Premier League.
“It would allow Arteta, especially with Gabriel Jesus not being in the team because of injury, is say to Martinelli ‘okay, we can play you through the middle’. I know there are a lot of Arsenal fans who would like to see that happen, anyway.
“Eddie Nketiah is playing well in Jesus’ absence. But again, it’s about rotation. It’s about different options. I think this will happen and I think he will be a real asset to them.”

MUDRYK HYPE NEEDS TO BE MELLOWED
It’s great that Arsenal are looking to bolster their attack, especially with Gabriel Jesus sitting on the touchline.
Added to that, fans will be very much pleased by the fact that Mudryk himself wants this transfer because he can’t stop sending out so many signals.
But the stupid fee being suggested, such as over £80 million, should surely be off-putting to Arsenal and it’s something they should shy away from, even if Mudryk drives himself to the Emirates Stadium.
