£76,000-a-week striker Arsenal want has just scored a hat-trick

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with Lautaro Martinez, and thee Inter Milan striker showed what he is capable of by bagging a hat-trick on Friday evening.

Arsenal interest in Lautaro Martinez

According to FC Inter 1908 last month, Arsenal are interested in signing Martinez from Inter in the summer transfer window.

The report claimed that the Gunners have already taken the first steps to secure the services of the 24-year-old Argentina international striker.

Tutto Mercato Web have reported that Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are keen on Martinez, while Calciomercato claim that Liverpool are eyeing the £76,000-a-week striker (Salary Sport) as a potential replacement for Roberto Firmino.

Hat-trick hero

Martinez is one of the best strikers in the world, and he continued to show that with a hat-trick for Inter against Salernitana.

The Argentine found the back of the net in the 22nd, 40th and 56th minute of the Serie A game at San Siro on Friday evening.

Inter won 5-0.

The Inter no. 10 has now scored 14 goals and provided two assists in 19 Serie A starts this season.

Arsenal will need to sign at least one superb striker in the summer transfer window, and Martinez would be a brilliant addition to the team.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left Barcelona in the January transfer window, and fellow strikers Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season.
