Paul Merson has predicted on SportsKeeda that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will finish in the Premier League top four ahead of the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Sky Sports pundit believes that Arsenal will get the better of Watford 2-1 away from home in the Premier League this weekend and continue their march to a Champions League place.

The Englishman believes that Arsenal have a better chance than the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham, West Ham and Wolves to clinch a Champions League place.

Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “I stick to what I said at the start of the season and believe Arsenal will finish in the Premier League top four.

“Everyone around them is losing games – Manchester United couldn’t beat Watford last week, Spurs have been up and down in recent weeks and the likes of West Ham and Wolves have also been inconsistent.

“Arsenal have got the best chance and I think they will put themselves in an even better position this week with a hard-fought win.”

Arsenal to finish in Premier League top four?

In our view, Arsenal have a great chance of finishing in the Premier League top four this season.

The Gunners are doing well at the moment and have progressed a lot under Arteta in recent months.

Yes, Arsenal are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment, but they are only two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.

And they have three games in hand over United.

Arsenal have a very long squad, but that seems to be working in their favour at the moment.

However, we urge the Gunners not to get complacent.

Manchester United, Wolves, Tottenham and West Ham all are strong teams.
