As Arsenal prepare to go toe-to-toe with Unai Emery’s Aston Villa, we took a shot at calling their predicted lineup for Saturday’s early kick-off.

With the Gunners dropping to 2nd place in the Premier League table, albeit with a game in hand after their latest defeat to Man City, we expect Mikel Arteta to make as many as 3 crucial changes for the upcoming contest.

It goes without saying that Aaron Ramsdale to keep his place in net in our Arsenal predicted lineup against Aston Villa.

At right-back is where we expect the first change from Mikel Arteta, with Takehiro Tomiyasu, who had a howler of a game against Man City to be benched for Ben White, whose level has recently dropped according to Sol Campbell.

Of course, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are expected to start in our Arsenal predicted lineup against Aston Villa, despite the latter having a ropey game up against Erling Haaland.

At left-back, Oleksandr Zinchenko seems an undroppable figure in the team for a multitude of positive reasons.

With Thomas Partey recently suffering an injury on Tuesday and Jorginho performing in his absence, it is unlikely that the former will be risked against Villa.

However, Granit Xhaka, who did disappoint against City could be benched for a more creative option in Fabio Vieira in our Arsenal predicted lineup against Aston Villa, who Mikel Arteta described as a ‘huge talent’ once.

To complete the midfield trifecta is the in-form attacking midfielder and club captain, Martin Odegaard.

At right wing, Bukayo Saka’s place in the XI remains indisputable at this point, as he has a strong claim for being the club’s best player this season.

In the No.9 role, we expect Mikel Arteta to keep the faith in Eddie Nketiah, despite his recent wasteful performance.

And finally, Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard could come in for Gabriel Martinelli against Villa, who has been ‘off the boil’ as per Jamie O’Hara via talkSPORT recently.
