As Arsenal prepare to face Oxford United in the Third Round of the FA Cup, here is our predicted lineup for the Premier League leaders.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Oxford United

Matt Turner is likely to be brought in to replace Aaron Ramsdale in between the sticks for the Gunners.

At right-back, the in-form Ben White could be given a breather, with Takehiro Tomiyasu drafted into our Arsenal predicted lineup.

Rob Holding could also come into the side, with William Saliba rested ahead of the North London Derby.

Gabriel Magalhaes has a chance of perhaps being the only player in the Arsenal backline to keep his place in the predicted lineup against Oxford United.

With Oleksandr Zinchenko expected to start against both Tottenham and Manchester United, Mikel Arteta could give Kieran Tierney a runout in the FA Cup.

Considering an injury to Thomas Partey could singlehandedly wreck Mikel Arteta’s plans to win the Premier League, he is likely to be wrapped in cotton wool, with Mohamed Elneny operating as the No.6.

Albert Sambi Lokonga makes the cut as part of our Arsenal predicted lineup against Oxford United, with Granit Xhaka rested ahead of bigger tests.

In the No.10 role, we expect Martin Odegaard to also join Granit Xhaka on the bench, with Fabio Vieira being handed a rare start.

On the right wing, Marquinhos may come into the XI, as has been the case in the Europa League at least.

With Mikel Arteta recently mentioning that Emile Smith-Rowe could be deployed as a false 9 (The Athletic), we feel he use the youngster, he describes as a ‘huge talent’ up front in the FA Cup.

On the left wing, Gabriel Martinelli keeps his place in our Arsenal predicted lineup, in order to get a top performance in ahead of some upcoming tricky tests, after a quiet game up against Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier.

All in all, our Arsenal predicted lineup against Oxford United in the 3rd round of the FA Cup sees Mikel Arteta make as many as 9 changes.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Oxford United: Turner, Tomiyasu, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney, Elneny, Lokonga, Vieira, Marquinhos, Smith-Rowe, Martinelli.
