Gabriel Magalhaes has admitted that Tottenham and Arsenal transfer target, Gabriel Jesus, is a ‘quality player’.
The Arsenal defender is on Brazil duty with the Manchester City striker and admitted that if he joins him at the Emirates, then he will ‘help us a lot’, as quoted by Globo.
Mikel Arteta is searching for that number nine after missing out on Champions League football on the last day of the Premier League season.
It was Tottenham who pipped them to fourth spot and they are also looking to add depth to their forward areas, with the north London duo keen on signing Jesus.
For Arsenal, it seems as though, Alexandre Lacazette, will head for the exit door with his contract set to expire in June, but Eddie Nketiah is closing in on extending his stay at his boyhood club.
Either way, the Gunners still need another goalscorer to add to their books and this is what Gabriel had to say about Jesus joining him in London.
“He is certainly a quality player,” said Gabriel. “And, if he goes to Arsenal, he will help us a lot.”

That opens the door for, either Spurs or Arsenal to pounce for his signature, especially if they put the right amount of money on Manchester City’s table.
Tottenham hold the obvious advantage of Champions League football, but with a certain Harry Kane leading the line under Antonio Conte, the Brazil star has more chance of earning minutes at the Emirates.
