Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are reportedly confident of signing Gremio midfielder Bitello.
According to 90min, Arsenal are confident of getting a deal done with Gremio for Bitello in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners reportedly think that they are at the front of the queue for the Brazilian midfielder.
The report has claimed that the 23-year-old himself is open to a move this summer.
90min has further reported that AS Monaco, FC Porto and Zenit Saint Petersburg all are in talks over a potential transfer for Bitello.
Arsenal Sporting Director Edu personally wants Bitello at the Emirates Stadium, according to the report, which has added that Gremio will sell the youngster for £8.5 million.

Gremistas reported last week that Bitello could struggle to get a work permit to play for Arsenal in the Premier League.
Since Bitello has not played in international competitions for Gremio, the 23-year-old does not have the necessary points to make the move.
Arsenal could find an agreement to sign Bitello now, but the youngster would have to stay in Brazil until December and then move to the Gunners, according to the report.
Bitello would be one for the future for Arsenal
In our opinion, Arsenal fans should not expect too much of Bitello if he joined the Gunners.
After all, the midfielder is only 23 and has not played in Europe yet.
Even in Brazil, he does not have extensive experience.
What Arsenal should be paying pay is potential.
Arsenal would have to be patient with Bitello and allow him time and patience to grow and get used to the rigours of the Premier League.
Arsenal will be aiming to win the Premier League title season.
Mikel Arteta’s side will also be determined to make an impact in the UEFA Champions League next campaign.
