Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have made a second bid for Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Lisandro Martinez, according to The Daily Mail.
The report has claimed that Arsenal had made an initial offer of £25 million for Martinez which his club Ajax turned down.
Arsenal have now made a second offer for the 24-year-old Argentina international defender.
The report has claimed that the Gunners have now offered Ajax £30 million for Martinez, who is a central defender by trade but can also operate as a left-back and as a central midfielder.
90min have reported that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on Martinez.
Newcastle United and Chelsea are reported to be interested in Martinez as well.

Spurs head coach Antonio Conte reportedly wants a centre-back, and Martinez would be a good signing for the North London club.
The 24-year-old has been at Ajax since 2019 and is very experienced.
Martinez has won the Eredivisie twice with Ajax and clinched the Copa America in 2021 with Argentina.
Tottenham will play in the UEFA Champions League next season, and that could appeal to Martinez more plain playing in the Europa League with Arsenal.
