Even when Arsenal aren’t playing, their supporters are still happy – after Tottenham Hotspur lost to Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.

In what should’ve been a comfortable three points for a team like Spurs who spent well over £100 million last summer, Antonio Conte’s side lost to the Villans in North London.

Tottenham have certainly kicked off 2023 in a horrendous way, in contrast to Arsenal who won again on New Year’s Eve to move seven points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Former Aston Villa winger Yannick Bolasie is a known Gunners’ fan.

And here’s how he reacted on Twitter to the Lilywhites losing to Unai Emery’s side yesterday.

This is worrying for Tottenham.

They’re 13 points behind Arsenal at the summit – and their North London rivals have a game in hand.

Having dropped two more points after Christmas away to Brentford, things aren’t looking good for Conte who will slowly but surely realise the fanbase shifting opinion.

Yes, the Italian is still a world-class manager, but Tottenham fans won’t care much about his titles at Chelsea, Inter Milan or Juventus.

That’s because they want success at their club and it’s growing increasingly difficult to see Conte being the one to deliver it, all things being equal.
