Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Lyon want €45 million (£37.50 million) for Bruno Guimaraes, amid interest from Arsenal among other clubs.
Romano has claimed that Arsenal have been following the Brazilian midfielder for a long time.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Lyon want €45 million (£37.50 million) as transfer fee for the 24-year-old and will not sell him for anything less.
Lyon are also offering Bruno Guimaraes to sign a new contract until 2026, according to Romano.
The London Evening Standard reported this week interested in the Brazilian from Arsenal, Everton and Newcastle United.
What should Arsenal do about Bruno Guimaraes?
In our view, Arsenal should wait until the end of the season before making a decision on Bruno Guimaraes.
We do not think that the Gunners should splash €45 million (£37.50 million) on the Brazil international midfielder.
Not in the middle of the season anyway.

Yes, Guimaraes is a good defensive midfielder, but does manager Mikel Arteta really need to strengthen that particular area?
In our opinion, no.
Thomas Party, Granit Xhaka and Albert Sambi Lokonga are good options for Arsenal in midfield.
Arsenal could do with a new striker in the January transfer window in their quest to finish in the Premier League top four.
