Arsenal target Danilo has hinted at being open to a January exit from Palmeiras if his agent presents him with the right offer.

This may be welcome news for the Gunners, who were reported by GOAL to have bid for the Brazilian in the summer as a potential addition.

In addition, the Evening Standard had even mentioned that Mikel Arteta’s men stand a strong chance of wrapping up a deal for him in January.

Considering the 21-year-old told UOL Esporte that he feels he can play in any league in the world, the following transfer hint could spell a positive development for the North Londoners.

Arsenal target Danilo hints at potential exit if the right offer comes through

Speaking to UOL Esporte, the £26 million-rated wonderkid (The Sun) confirmed that he would open to having a chat with his agent about an exit if the right offer is at their doorstep.

“But I prefer not to get involved with these transfer issues. I told my manager to only talk to me if it’s the right thing.”

“Then we sit down and talk to Palmeiras, and decide what’s best for everyone.”

Danilo, who is known to base his game on N’Golo Kante has confirmed for all practical purposes that if the Gunners double down on their approach to sign him, a January move could become a reality.

Arsenal should be extremely encouraged by their midfield target’s confession and ensure they get the deal done, as it seems very doable after his quotes.

With the Premier League title challengers in desperate need of a backup to Thomas Partey, this may be the closest thing to a come-get-me plea from Danilo.
