Arsenal target Danilo has made the bold claim that he has the ability to play in any competition in the world.

This may be music to the Emirates faithful’s ears, as the club have been linked with a January swoop for the Brazilian, as reported by the Sun in January.

Considering Mikel Arteta’s men failed to wrap up a deal for Danilo in the summer (GOAL), it was also mentioned by the Evening Standard that they would stand a better chance of signing him at the turn of the year.

With Thomas Partey set to play a major role for Ghana at the World Cup, the youngster’s potential addition would help the side become better placed to continue their Premier League title challenge.

Speaking to UOL Esporte the defensive-minded midfielder hinted in some ways that he would be willing to showcase his class in a division as highly-rated as the Premier League for Arsenal.

“I see myself mature enough to play in any competition in the world, I’m ready.”

The fact that the £26 million-rated starlet (The Sun) is brimming with such confidence at just 21 years of age for a player yet to play in Europe is an insight into his steely mentality.
