Arsenal appear to be closing in on Leandro Trossard with personal terms agreed and negotiations Brighton and Hove Albion now advanced.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Arsenal are ready to make an official bid for the Seagulls winger.
It’s stated that Trossard has already agreed terms with Arsenal and talks are continuing to try and get the deal over the line.
This would bring an end to what has become a rather unsavoury saga at Brighton.
Trossard has been in the bad books of manager Roberto De Zerbi of late and has been left out of Brighton’s last three games.
A departure seemed to be inevitable and it now seems that Trossard will be trading the South Coast for North London soon enough.

Leandro Trossard a step down from Mykhailo Mudryk for Arsenal
Arsenal have had to go back into the transfer market for a new winger having missed out on the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk.
Chelsea managed to hijack Arsenal and sign Mudryk last weekend, leaving the Gunners rocked after months of chasing him.
Edu and co have now had to move in for a new wide man and a host of names have been linked.
Raphinha, Ferran Torres and Moussa Diaby are just some of the names touted but it now looks like Trossard is their man.
Signing Belgian international Trossard does feel like a bit of a step down for Arsenal, even if he will be much cheaper than Mudryk.
Mudryk has huge potential whilst Raphinha, Torres and Diaby have been top attackers in the Premier League or Bundesliga.
Trossard has been a good Premier League winger for Brighton and showed his quality with a hat-trick against Liverpool earlier this season.
Trossard just doesn’t have that top-end potential at 28 and will need to take a step forward in order to really prove himself at Arsenal.
Hailed as ‘unreal’ by Rio Ferdinand, Trossard now has his big move to an elite club – and he must quickly show that he is worth Edu’s faith.
