Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Martin Odegaard for Mikel Arteta’s side against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium today.
Odegaard was in action for Arsenal in the Premier League game against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Sunday afternoon.
The match ended in a goalless draw.
Arsenal were far from impressive in the match, and not many players can say that they did well.
One player who did well and is being praised by Arsenal fans on Twitter is attacking midfielder Odegaard.
The former Real Madrid player was Arsenal’s main creative outlet and linked midfield with attack brilliantly.
Odegaard created chances for his teammates and came close to scoring with a free kick as well.
The 23-year-old took three shots and two of them were on target, played four key passes, had a pass accuracy of 91.7%, took 67 touches, made three tackles, one interception and one clearance, and put in six crosses.
The result means that Arsenal are now sixth in the Premier League table with 36 points from 21 matches.
The Gunners are only two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, who have played 22 games.
Arsenal are still very much in the race for the Premier League top four.
