Arsenal fans have been left in hysterics after Aaron Ramsdale rocked up to England training sitting on the floor rather than the seats of the taxi.
Riding in style?
For some reason the Arsenal goalkeeper decided that he didn’t fancy a padded ride into St. George’s Park, as shown in a video on England’s Official YouTube channel.
Ramsdale instead decided that he wanted to sit on the floor for the increased leg-room.
When he did arrive the Arsenal summer signing said that the reason behind his decision to sit on the floor was as it was ‘more comfy’.
His reasoning leaves one England staff member laughing in the video.
And plenty of Arsenal fans have also found Ramsdale’s latest actions hilarious.
What a character
Ramsdale is proving to be quite the character, with his profile rising since moving to the Emirates Stadium.
His performances on the pitch have been brilliant, but he has quickly sparked up a great relationship with the Arsenal fans.
Ramsdale’s desire to play to the crowd has really endeared himself to Gunners supporters and his personality is shining through right now.
The 23-year-old also is one of the most in-form players in the England squad.
There have been some suggestions around the Arsenal camp that he could well become England’s number one.
Jordan Pickford’s displays for his country have also been very strong, but at club level Ramsdale is certainly enjoying the stronger season.
And it will be interesting to see if Gareth Southgate hands the Arsenal man his England senior debut over the coming days.
The Three Lions face Albania and San Marino in the next fortnight, as they look to book their spot at the 2022 World Cup.
