Incoming Everton manager Frank Lampard has told the club not to sell Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, according to The Daily Star.
The Daily Star have claimed that Arsenal manager Arteta wants to sign Calvert-Lewin from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer of 2022.
There has also been speculation that the Gunners want to bring the England international striker to Goodison Park right now.
The Daily Star are now reporting that Lampard, who is set to be appointed as the new Everton boss, has told the Toffees hierarchy not to sell Calvert-Lewin, as he is a bi admirer of the striker and wants him in his plans.
Arsenal should not give up on Dominic Calvert-Lewin
In our view, Arsenal should not give up on signing Calvert-Lewin from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer of 2022.
If the Gunners are keen on the 24-year-old, then they should continue to monitor him and make a bid for him at the end of the season.

Now, we do not think that there is any point in Arsenal trying to sign Calvert-Lewin so late in the January transfer window.
Everton are simply not going to sell him now.
However, it could be a different story in the summer of 2022.
The Everton no. 9 has scored 43 goals and created 10 big chances 153 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
