Tony Cascarino has raved about reported Arsenal transfer target and Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin on talkSPORT (8:11am, January 22, 2022).
The former Chelsea striker has outlined the attributes of Calvert-Lewin, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal from Everton in the January transfer window.
TalkSPORT reported last week that Arsenal want to sign Calvert-Lewin from Everton this month.
The Sun reported over the weekend that Everton value the 24-year-old England international striker at £60 million.
Cascarino said about Calvert-Lewin on talkSPORT (8:11am, January 22, 2022): “Dominic Calvert-Lewin is probably the best type of the way he plays in the Premier League.
“He leads the line brilliantly and he is incredibly good in the air, he wants to drive and get in behind defenders.”

Dominic Calvert-Lewin would make Arsenal better
In our view, Calvert-Lewin would make Arsenal better and would give manager Mikel Arteta another option.
The striker has had injury problems this season, but we saw how brilliant he was under Carlo Ancelotti.
We know that the 24-year-old is a brilliant header of the ball, and he is very good inside the opposition penalty area.
Calvert-Lewin has scored three goals in six Premier League appearances for Everton so far this season.
The striker scored 16 goals in 32 Premier League starts last season, and scored 13 goals in 39 league starts in 2019-20.
The Everton striker has scored 43 goals in 153 Premier League appearances so far in his career.
Of those 18 have been headed goals.
Calvert-Lewin has had 127 shots out of 288 on target.
