As per a report by the Guardian, Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Callum Hudson-Odoi, who could be set to leave Chelsea next season.
The English winger has not lit up proceedings since heading out on loan to Xabi Alonso’s side, with just 1 assist to his name in 6 Bundesliga starts so far.
However, it seems Arsenal remain interested in swooping in for Callum Hudson-Odoi, after signing another player from Chelsea recently in Jorginho.
Arsenal interested in signing Chelsea loanee Callum Hudson-Odoi
Clearly, Mikel Arteta, who Pep Guardiola famously revealed may well be a true Gunners supporter kept the London rivalry aside when signing the Italian international, who he once compared to Sergio Busquets.
Now, it seems Arsenal could make a surprise move for Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is ‘unlikely’ to stay at Chelsea, alongside a number of other players during the 2023/2024 season, according to the Guardian.

The report specifically states that the Premier League leaders are ‘tracking’ the 22-year-old, who Eden Hazard called a ‘great player’ (Bleacher Report) in the past.
Whether that is a smart signing or not will be up for debate, if it ends up going through.
In our view: Callum Hudson-Odoi could redeem himself under Arteta
However, we believe that there are not many better managers suited to reviving Callum Hudson-Odoi than Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.
The Spanish tactician has managed to elevate the wing duo of Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka to unseen heights under his tutelage. And natural talent wise, the Cobham graduate is right up there with the pair.
Injuries aside, a major reason why the youngster had a stop-start time at Stamford Bridge was due to limited opportunities and playing out of position at times as well, especially at wing-back under Thomas Tuchel.
That is unlikely to be the case at Arsenal, as Mikel Arteta could well and truly transform Callum Hudson-Odoi.
