Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are now reportedly facing competition from Real Madrid for Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak.
But, that is not all.
Sociedad actually do not want to sell the Sweden international striker.
Arsenal interest
The Athletic reported this month that Arsenal want to sign Isak from Sociedad in the summer transfer window.
As we covered here on HITC Sport, Cadena Ser subsequently claimed that the Gunners are in talks with the 21-year-old’s agent.
The report has also stated that the youngster has a release clause of €70 million (£60.06 million).

Real Madrid join the race
Cadena Ser has now claimed that Spanish and European giants Madrid have made contract with Isak’s agent.
The report has added that Sociedad do not want to sell the Euro 2020 star.
The La Liga outfit have presented Isak with a new contract which will see his release clause go up to €90 million (£77.22 million).

Missing out?
Sociedad do not want to sell Isak, described as an “exceptional talent” by former Tottenham Hotspur and England international striker Gary Lineker on Twitter this month.
However, money talks.
Isak himself could be tempted to move to Madrid or Arsenal.
Isak made 30 starts and four substitute appearances in La Liga for Sociedad last season.
The youngster scored 17 goals and gave two assists in those games.
