Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are interested in signing former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window, according to TuttoJuve.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Arsenal are willing to pay €30 million (£25.16 million) for the 29-year-old Spain international striker, described as Tottenham Hotspur head coach and former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte as “fantastic”, as quoted in Fotmob in July 2017.
The 29-year-old is on loan at Juventus at the moment, and the Italian giants reportedly want to make his loan deal from Atletico permanent.
Arsenal should not sign Alvaro Morata
In our opinion, Arsenal should not sign Morata from Atletico in the summer transfer window.
Yes, the striker has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world, but he really does not have a prolific record.

Morata scored 16 goals in 47 appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea.
The striker has scored eight goals and given six assists in 24 Serie A starts for Juventus so far this season.
Arsenal will need to sign at least two new strikers in the summer transfer window, but, in our view, Morata should not be one of them.
