Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told Football.London that Oliver Skipp is desperate to play for Spurs again.
Skipp has established himself as an important player in the Tottenham team under Conte.
The former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss has spoken on more than one occasion how highly he rates the 21-year-old.
Conte has said that the England Under-21 international midfielder has a groin injury, adding that the midfielder himself is working very hard to get back on the pitch.

The Tottenham boss told Football.London about Skipp: “He’s not ready, he’s having this problem with groin pain, and is fighting and he could recover before but maybe something was wrong, and now we have to wait.”

Top-four challenge
In our view, Skipp will be a big player for Tottenham in their quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
Spurs are not having the best of times at the moment, and we can see that Tottenham are missing the English midfielder.
It remains to be seen when the former Norwich City loanee is back in action.
Tottenham fans will hope that it is sooner rather than later.
Skipp has made 14 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham so far this season.
The English youngster has also made five appearances in the Carabao Cup, four in the UEFA Conference League and one in the FA Cup.
