Danny Higginbotham has predicted on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte will clash with club chairman Daniel Levy over transfer funds.

The former Manchester United defender made the prediction after watching Tottenham suffer a 2-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Wolves were the better team, as Spurs struggled defensively and in midfield.

Higginbotham, who now works as a pundit for ICM Broadcasting, believes that Conte will clash with Levy, as Tottenham do not spend big in transfer windows.

The former Sky Sports pundit hs added that he thinks that the former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager will leave Spurs before the start of next season.

Could Antonio Conte get frustrated with Daniel Levy?

In our view, Tottenham fans should stay calm and not worry too much about Conte leaving at the end of the season.

The Spurs head coach himself has expressed his frustrations at how things have been, but he has maintained that nothing will change overnight.

Conte has said that it is a gradual process at Tottenham.

Now, in our opinion, this suggests that the Italian tactician is not looking to leave anytime soon.

Of course, Conte will want Tottenham to challenge for major trophies soon, but he will have also realised that the current team is not at the level of Chelsea, Manchester City or Liverpool.
