Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told Football.London that Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero will play against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.
Conte has said that Tottenham forward Son and his teammate and central defender Romero are now indispensable for the team.
South Korea international Son and Argentina international Romero played against Brighton and Hove Albion and Southampton since their return from injury.
Tottenham will take on Wolves at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Both Spurs and the Wanderers are in the running for the Champions League places in the Premier League table this season.
Conte on Tottenham duo Romero and Son
Conte told Football.London: ”Yeah, but we need them. Yeah I know very well that to play three games in seven or eight days could be, not a risk, but yes taking a bit of risk.
“But we need them, they’re important players for us. Especially behind, at the back, Dier in this moment is out so Romero has to play.
“And also Sonny, we need up front to have him because he’s also an important player. I think I’m not telling you anything stupid, about the importance of these players for us. Yeah, they’re going to play.”

Big players for Tottenham Hotspur
In our view, both Son and Romero are big players for Tottenham and will be instrumental in Conte’s side’s quest to finish in the Premier League top four this season.
Romero joined Spurs on loan from Atalanta in the summer of 2021 and was on the sidelines for several weeks due to injury.
Son is an important source of goals for Spurs, and his partnership with Harry Kane will be key in the North London club’s attack.
