Anthony Knockaert appears to have confirmed Connor Goldson’s move to Glasgow Rangers on social media website Instagram.

HITC broke the news that Goldson had penned a four-year contract at Ibrox yesterday, although official confirmation has still not gone through.

Knockaert, who is Goldson’s teammate, could not resist sending the defender a good luck message on social media yesterday though, with his move to Rangers seemingly complete.

Goldson has been made one of Steven Gerrard’s key targets at Rangers, with the centre-back targeted in the hope of tightening up the Light Blues’ back-line.

Rangers struggled at the back last season, and failed to find a settled defensive pairing.

Goldson, though, is expected to be brought straight into Gerrard’s new look backline upon signing at Ibrox.

Rangers have already been busy in the transfer market this summer, with more new arrivals set to follow in the near future.
