Anthony Kim’s remarkable resurgence continues to gather momentum, both on and off the course.
Just weeks after shocking the golf world by beating Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau to win LIV Golf Adelaide, the former PGA Tour star has made another major move.
Kim has officially become an ambassador and equity partner in Malbon Golf, joining Jason Day and Charley Hull as headline names attached to the brand.
Anthony Kim becomes Malbon Golf ambassador and equity partner
Kim’s relationship with Malbon founder Stephen Malbon dates back to before his LIV Golf return in 2024.
The pair were introduced through Kim’s former agent Chris Armstrong and bonded over their shared journey in sobriety.
Initially, Malbon had hoped to get Kim into the brand’s apparel, but Kim was tied to Extracurricular at the time. Once that deal expired in late 2025, talks resumed.

There was another complication when Kim joined Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces GC, who have an apparel agreement with Under Armour.
Still, Malbon remained keen to work together. Following Kim’s emotional LIV Adelaide victory, the two sides finalised a deal.
Kim will wear Malbon apparel during non-LIV competition rounds and practice sessions, and notably wore Malbon-branded socks during his win in Australia.
Originally structured as a cash-and-equity partnership, Kim changed course after lifting the trophy.
“He won last week and got some big checks out of that and said, ‘I don’t want any cash, give me all equity,’” Malbon revealed to Sports Business Journal.
Kim is now officially a partner in the company. The duo are also launching a collection featuring the slogan “Don’t f—— quit,” a phrase that reflects Kim’s unlikely comeback story.
Anthony Kim shares emotional message on social media
After the announcement, Kim took to social media to reflect on how far he has come in a short space of time.
“If you told me three years ago I would have people around the world buying clothes with my initials, I would never have believed you, but through God, sobriety, family & hard work, anything is possible. Grateful for the love and support.”
The message underlined just how improbable this chapter once seemed. After years away from the game and personal struggles, Kim has rebuilt both his playing career and his brand.
Now a LIV champion and an equity partner in a rising golf apparel company, Anthony Kim’s comeback continues to take on new dimensions.
