There’s a lot of uncertainty at Liverpool at the moment.
Last week, it was announced that Julian Ward would be leaving Anfield next summer, only a year after replacing Michael Edwards as the Reds’ transfer guru.
After that, The Athletic, as covered by HITC Sport, reported that Ian Graham had also resigned from his role as Liverpool’s head of research.
Oh, and there’s daily speculation about Fenway Sports Group selling the club after putting it on the market in November.
So yeah, quite a lot of uncertainty at Liverpool right now – and another figure has left the club.

On Thursday, Rangers revealed that new manager Michael Beale, a former coach at Kirkby, had hired Jack Ade to join his backroom staff at Ibrox [official website].
Ade has quit his role as Liverpool’s head of elite fitness and development to become the Gers’ new head of performance in Glasgow.
He joins Damian Matthew, Neil Banfield and Harry Watling as part of Beale’s team in Scotland.
Obviously Beale – described by Steven Gerrard as ‘proper’, according to Jermain Defoe via HITC Sport – knows Ade from his own time at Liverpool and it’ll be interesting to see how the 42-year-old manager fares in only his second managerial post.
According to the Anfield club’s official website, Ade is a ‘accredited sports scientist with the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences [BASES], an accredited strength and conditioning coach with the United Kingdom strength and conditioning association [UKSCA].
