It’s been a rough stretch for the UFC ahead of its upcoming event in Perth, Australia.
Jack Della Maddalena taking on Carlos Prates over five rounds on May 2 is more than enough to get fans to tune in, regardless of what time zone they are in.
For fans at the RAC Arena, each of the six main-card fights had an Oceania fighter lined up.
Tai Tuivasa recently lost his spot on the card due to his opponent pulling out. And now another injury has hit one of the fighters scheduled for this event.

Jack Jenkins pulls out of Marwan Rahiki bout at UFC Perth due to injury
Jack Jenkins has reportedly been forced to withdraw from his scheduled featherweight clash against Marwan Rahiki due to injury, according to a report earlier today from Australian MMA.
The 30-year-old was set to face the 8-1 Frenchman who made a statement in his promotional debut last month, breaking Harry Hardwick’s jaw and picking up a Fight of the Night bonus.
Rahiki was slated for the third fight of six main-card bouts, as reported by Marcel Dorff’s bout order for UFC Perth.
This would have been Jenkins’ first appearance since recovering from a submission loss in Sydney that left him in intensive care. He had rebounded with a win over Ramon Taveras at the previous Perth event last September.
Since earning his contract with an impressive knockout on Dana White’s Contender Series, ‘Phar’ has put together a 4-2 record inside the Octagon.
