Arsenal recorded a vital 1-0 win in the Premier League earlier today, although Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba did not seem too pleased at full-time.
What’s the story?
Well, the Gunners shook off a questionable decision to disallow Leandro Trossard’s goal in the 28th minute to take all three points back to the Emirates Stadium, as Gabriel Martinelli scored to defeat Leicester.
While you would have expected every Arsenal player to be delighted after the final whistle as a result of the win, there was an incident involving Gabriel and Saliba.
James McNicholas – who covers Arsenal for The Athletic – revealed on his @gunnerblog account on Twitter that the two Arsenal defenders were involved in an “angry” exchange at the King Power Stadium.
It is said that Saliba “appeared to push” Gabriel away after a disagreement of some sorts.

After the relief of a vital win in the Premier League title race, this will now surely concern some Arsenal fans.
Arsenal fans should not worry about Gabriel & Saliba
In our view, this is actually a positive thing.
Title winning sides do not rest on their laurels or pat themselves on the back until the job is done, and with Manchester City so often relentless in a title race, complacency cannot creep in.

Presumably, Gabriel and Saliba felt there were things they could have done better defensively against Leicester, and if that is the case, it is pleasing to see the pair of perfectionists strive for improvement despite picking up three points.
A 1-0 lead is a difficult thing to cling onto in the Premier League – in any league for that matter – so if Gabriel and Saliba felt one of them was not doing enough defensively, it is a good thing to see them speak up about it, rather than waiting to see if it costs them next time out.
