Paul Merson predicted on SportsKeeda that Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United will lose to Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea at Elland Road in the Premier League this weekend.
Leeds will take on Chelsea at Elland Road in the Premier League on Sunday.
Former Arsenal star and Sky Sports pundit Merson has backed Chelsea to pick up all three points from the game against Leeds at Elland Road courtesy of a 2-0 win.
Merson has pointed out that Chelsea have an issue in scoring goals, but the Englishman still believes that the Blues will still beat Leeds.
Chelsea won 1-0 against Everton in their opening game of the Premier League season before drawing 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur at Stanford Bridge.
Leeds beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 at Elland Road in their first game of the league campaign before drawing 2-2 with Southampton away from home at St.Mary’s Stadium.
Paul Merson on Leeds United v Chelsea
Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “Leeds United got three points on the opening weekend of the Premier League season but blew a two-goal lead against Southampton last time around.
“Chelsea were outstanding against Spurs and were unlucky to come out with just a point from the London derby, but goalscoring seems to be a bit of an issue for Thomas Tuchel at the moment.
“Despite their dominance, Hugo Lloris made just one save last weekend – one from Kai Havertz in the first half.
“I still expect them to beat Leeds United because ultimately, their class will prevail.”

Exciting game
In our view, the Premier League game between Leeds United and Chelsea will be very exciting and entertaining.
Leeds will have home advantage, and that will help them a lot.
However, Chelsea are a better team, and if the players are on their game, then they should get the job done.
