Thiago Alcantara has stated that Tottenham Hotspur have made an ‘amazing’ start to their Premier League and Champions League season under Antonio Conte.
Spurs slipped down to fourth in the Premier League table on Sunday after their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool – it’s back-to-back home defeats in the league for the north London club.
In the Champions League, whilst they left it right until the end, they have booked their ticket to the knockout stages.

It could have and should have been a lot easier, but as Spurs have been doing all season long, they like to shoot themselves in the foot before starting their engine.
Nonetheless, after coming up against Conte’s side over the weekend, Spanish midfielder Thiago spoke in glowing terms about the team, as he told Premier League Productions.
“I am no-one to analyse Tottenham’s way of playing for this first three or four months,” said Thiago. “I think they are doing amazing.
“You just have to see in the Champions League where they are. You can see in the Premier League where they are as well. Congrats on this beginning of the season.”

CRUCIAL WEEK COMING UP
Conte’s style of play has been a big talking point since his arrival, whether Spurs have been winning or losing, with the latter happening a fair few bit in recent weeks.
But on Wednesday night, they will take on Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup, if they get knocked out, then those voicing their displeasure will only increase their volume.
Plus, the Italian has been brought in to win a trophy and this is one of the more realistic trophies he can deliver.
