Speaking on the Official England Podcast, Kalvin Phillips has been waxing-lyrical about reported Liverpool target Jadon Sancho.
The Leeds United star has been speaking about the players that have been impressing him in England training, and it sounds as though Sancho has really caught his eye.
What’s been said?
Phillips said that the standard to training in the England camp was exceptional, and when he was asked which players have stood out to him, he named Sancho as one of the most eye-catching players.
“I think you know, the first time I came in, Jadon Sancho was just unbelievable, he was just dribbling towards people just to dribble past them, he has amazing skill and he’s got a very good technique with the way he dribbles with the ball. It’s the same with many players, there’s Rashford as well, Jack Grealish and Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham as well at just 17.”
Premier League ready
Jadon Sancho seems to be ripping it up in training against some of the Premier League’s best, and we can’t help but imagine what it’d be like to see him in England’s top-flight.
Sancho could be in line for a move to England this summer. Manchester United have a long-standing interest, while Liverpool have also reportedly had an eye on the winger.
Will Sancho come to the Premier League? Only time will tell, but based on the review he’s had from Phillips about his performances in England training, he’s absolutely ready to star in his home country.
