Liverpool are keeping tabs on Jadon Sancho’s situation although will only move for him if one of their current front-three leaves, the Athletic report.

Sancho is widely expected to leave Borussia Dortmund to join Manchester United, but Liverpool are also monitoring the exciting English talent’s situation.

The Athletic say that he is a player who the Reds’ admire, although a move could be some way off at this time.

That is because Liverpool would have to sell Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane to make room for him.

There has been some discussions that one of Liverpool’s deadly front three could depart, after they failed to function with their usual threat for much of last campaign.

However, Liverpool are planning on keeping all three together, and that will remain the case unless a huge offer comes in, according to the latest update.

Liverpool or United?

If Sancho moves elsewhere that may disappoint some Anfield supporters, especially if he joins United.

Sancho looks to be one of England’s most exciting talents, and the 21-year-old has enjoyed another strong season at Borussia Dortmund.

He looks set to be one of the most dangerous wingers in world football, if he fulfils his obvious potential.

Harry Kane is among Sancho’s admirers, labelling him as a ‘great’ player on Joe’s Youtube channel recently.

And there may actually be an argument to suggest that Liverpool should push for a deal.

For all Mane, Salah and Firmino’s brilliance, the trio are all ageing now, whereas Sancho still has room to progress and if Jurgen Klopp’s side could bring him in this summer, then he could take a place in their attack for the next decade.
